 Description  « Hide
Since the update to server 1.24.6 it is impossible not to connect to multiple sims, the server keeps sending EnableSimulator event over the caps event queue. Not sure if there is a way to stop these.

This seems to be brought up by a recent change in LL simulator.

https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-3128

There seems to be no way to stop these events comming over the caps event queue, short of acting upon them and connecting to the neighboring sims, which defeats the purpose of disabling connections to multiple sims to save bandwidth and cpu cycles. Those extra connections are pretty much irrelevant for clients based upon libomv.

As you said, no way to get the server to not send is the requests, but the fix I just comitted cleans up the log message by handling the packet directly. I am curious how much bandwidth you feel this has increased your agents, the packet payload is very small
